Gantry-Mounted LED Lane-Direction Signs at a Hangzhou Intersection
Project Overview
At the intersection of Xiaocai Street and Tonghui Road in Hangzhou, China, overhead signs guide drivers into the appropriate lanes before they reach the junction. As part of the project’s second phase, Anhui Xingtong Technology Co., Ltd. supplied LED illuminated lane-direction signs for the gantry above the road.
The Lane-Guidance Requirement
The intersection has separate lanes for left turns, through traffic and right turns. Drivers approaching at night need to distinguish these directions clearly and identify the lane that matches their route.
Placing the signs above the lanes connects each illuminated arrow with its corresponding road position. The lighting also makes the symbols more prominent in the nighttime street scene.
Sign Configuration
The installed signs show four lane directions:

Each blue sign displays an illuminated directional arrow and edge markers. The four signs are mounted in sequence on the overhead gantry so drivers can read the directions as they approach the intersection.
Delivery and Nighttime Installation
The Phase II signs were delivered for the Hangzhou road project. The project photo records the signs illuminated on the gantry during nighttime site work, showing all four lane directions in their installed positions.
The photograph documents the visible arrangement and lighting effect. It does not, by itself, establish traffic performance figures or final acceptance of the wider road project.
Application Value
This installation illustrates a practical use of gantry-mounted LED traffic signs at an urban intersection: presenting several lane directions together in a position drivers can see above the road.
For projects requiring a different lane layout, the arrow arrangement and sign configuration should be confirmed against the intersection plan before production.
